wild childs

check out these crazy koo-koo buddies I picked up for five bucks:

I admit that part of me is kiiiiinda into the ugly cheetah print fabric, but not enough to keep it. the cane seat is missing on one of the chairs, so I guess whoever owned them had plywood seats cut and turned 'em into fancy cushions. the stuffing seems to be in good shape, so I'll just recover them directly over the existing material.

I'm thinking of finding an old kilim and using that for the seats. or maybe some kind of hide? oooh, or maybe a wool blanket...striped, army, Mexican? what do you think??

I vote for the hide! That would be fabulous on these chairs. I kinda like them as is, just for a little while until you decide what to do with them...
