ketchup & mustard

yesterday I went to see an 11 and a half foot credenza for a client. THAT IS A BIG CREDENZA. since I was in a neighborhood that I'd never been to before on my own, I decided to do some exploring, which means that I used my Yelp-app to find the nearby thrift stores.

lately I've been enjoying looking for clothes more than furniture and I've found some seriously rad things. also, the fact that I have amazing tailor really opens up the world of thrifted/vintage clothes, because now everything can be made to fit me just right. it RULES.

anyway, I found these two chairs at a Salvation Army, but I passed on them. they were $8 each and plastic. I wanted to love them, but they were just meh, so I talked myself out of it. now I keep thinking I should have gotten them, cause they'd look great if the bases were painted white and they were sitting on my back deck.

OH WELLZ.

what have you found lately?!

What? It must be the picture that makes that look amazing, because they look so not meh from here! I was thinking they would be fun at the head of a large dining table, but outside seems so much more fun!
