the other day I got an email about Steve Kiester's terra cotta ware, which is hand-made from recycled materials, reasonably-priced, and comes in every color of the rainbow...mugs, tumblers, bowls, and even shot glasses are brought to life with food-safe glaze and are dishwasher/micro-friendly.

then I came across this photo (but now I can't remember where I found it- help?) which I totally love. it's just a brown thrift-store planter that's been given the rattle-can treatment. I think the drips began as an accident, but they obviously make the piece look super rad...

I wish my jade plant was that thick and strong. mine is frail and wimpy. anyway, just wanted to share pretty things with your pretty faces.
UPDATE: lovely reader Anna (who's blog is actually called roygbiv), reminded me that the planter was found on the Old Brand New blog. so there ya go.
