in my opinion, there's nothing better than a good "before & after". okaaay, so 90 minute massages, monkeys riding pigs, laying on the beach with champagne, and small-town thrift stores...maaaaybe those things are better than before-&-afters. but we can all agree that B&A's are one of our favorite things about these dorky blogs we all have, right? right.
now, mine isn't as dramatically impressive as, say, Daniel's bedroom, but I'm pretty happy about it. also, they're just iPhone photos, deal with it...
here's a wall in my living room before:
and here's that same area after I painted the cabinets, re-framed that old buffalo target, and restyled things a bit.
shazam! I'm loooooving it. I have been talking about painting those cabinets forevs and I'm so glad I finally did it. too bad I accidentally painted the left one shut (oops) and then filled the right one with so many books that now it's too heavy to open (oops). also, I think I want to paint my living room grey.
Libby came over on Saturday and photographed my little apartment for a Vintage Bazaar House Tour, which I think will be up later this week. she didn't use an iPhone, so I'm pretty sure her photos will actually make my house look fancy. can't wait!

Awesome cabinets, paint job and styling. You've inspired me to get my shizz together! bravo!
Its lovely! Your cabinet transformation might be just the inspiration I need to paint a couple of pieces of furniture I've been meaning to deal with for about six months now.
