eye spy: baby Bertoias, Flor carpet tiles, Scooby Doo, a Saarinen end table, and personalized art. hmm, that table and chair combo certainly reminds me of a little something I put together several months ago...and I didn't even have this photo then!
yes, it's quite posh, but this room reminded me so much of a room that my aunt (who's almost more like my grandmother) would have done in her house, especially for my little brother and me. it's very country club, but any kid loves sleeping under a canopy...
if Victoria Beckham ever commissions Ralph Lauren to design the boys' wing of her Hamptons estate...this is exactly how I picture it.
okay, this is my dream room for my very fictional child. I like that its super simple, and I love orange, grey, cream, and browns together...the bare walls leave space for tacking up countless paintings and there's enough room to dump a whole bucket of Legos out and play for hours...
and this is how I picture the toddler's room at the Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes Hamptons estate...this is where they'd let the Beckham boys play with Suri, and then when it's time to raise their thetan level, they'd lock the kids in those charming cubbies and call upon Xenu.no, but really...this whole bunkbed room is incredibly sweet.
and this room from Katie Ridder is fancy enough for a grown up!

When I was a kid, I always wanted a large room w/ multiple twin size beds. I thought it seemed like so much fun.
oh i loooove these.
Oh these are great! Better than most cheeky kid rooms.
I would love to find bed covers similar to the ones in the "Ralph Lauren" room. Do you have any clue where I can find them?
