i love my dog, Bunny. i also really love that i turned the laundry room in my studio apartment into a bed cubby. i had a plumber cap the hookups and i covered the holes-- as well as a back door-- with wood paneling. my full extra-long bed fits just perfectly! the lightswitch cover was actually an Ikea mirror with an unfinished wood frame...i popped the mirror out and voila!
i absolutely love my little bed cave...i have a gorgeous danish folding screen at the foot of the bed that i can pull across the door if i have company staying in my living room (you can see the edge of it at the left of the door). the screen also has a fold down shelf, so i have a place to put my my glasses and my book at the end of the night.
its perfect and cozy and i just love it. and so does Bunny.

no, don't really have any trouble making the bed, but I do have to haul the mattress and boxspring out every couple of months to vacuum under it. and THATS a big job!

i know i'm a bit biased, but she's the BEST! super smart, well-behaved, totally goofy looking. i rescued her from a shelter after she'd been hit by a car...so i dont know what she was like as a puppy, but i am so lucky to have her now!
the only downside to any Corgi mix is that they shed like NO OTHER. it's insane. but whatevs, her ears and gigantic head make up for it.
